Introducing Mama Dottie 🥰
Mama Dottie is a 2-3 year old collie mix. She is approximately 50lbs, and is ready to go home! Mama Dottie was surrendered to a local animal control facility, at the start of her laboring process. We snagged her immediately, and while she was beyond terrifed, she trusted us enough to have us around for the birth of her babies. After a very long night, Mama Dottie had 9 puppies, known as the “D” litter.
Mama Dottie is a very special girl, and will need a very special home. She has a major fear of men, and will need a few visits before she’s comfortable. However, she LOVES kids of all ages, and would love a few of her own! Dottie would do best as an only dog, but meet and greets would need to happen prior to her adoption.
She is house trained, and alerts us when she needs to go out. She is kennel trained, walks excellent on a leash, loves a fun car ride, and is highly motivated by food. Dottie will be a fantastic dog once she’s comfortable with a new family. She would love a fenced in yard, and a comfy couch!
Dottie is spayed, heartworm negative, is up to date on core vaccines, has been dewormed, and given monthly flea and tick preventative.
Her adoption fee is $85 but any potential adopter still needs an approved adoption application.
