Introducing Oscar 😍
One mans trash, is another mans best friend!
This handsome lug nut was found at a local animal control facility, tethered to a dumpster. At 1-1.5 years old, this 68lb boy was left defenseless, and unloved. Until now! Oscar has enjoyed every second of his time with us! He is always excited and happy. He loves people, and the dogs he has met. He knows how to sit patiently for his food and treats, and is always down to give a paw or high five! Oscar is potty trained, and is not destructive. He is terrified of a kennel, and does not do well being in one. We believe his story can answer “why?” He is fearful of a kennel.
Oscar is a very big boy, and will need a home with someone who can handle his strength. He does well on a leash, with minimal pulling, but at 68lbs he is very bouncy! For this reason we would recommend a home with older children that he will be less likely to knock over! Oscar is way too friendly with our cats, and would need to learn a lot of manners before having one in his new home.
He has a lot of love to offer, and would be a great companion to an active family that would include him in their adventures! He does enjoy to cuddle, and play with all of his toys, but would be more than happy to go for hikes, runs, walks, and anything else to burn off some energy!
Oscar is scheduled for his neuter, has been brought current on core vaccines, has been dewormed, is heartworm negative, and has been given monthly flea and tick preventative.
His adoption fee is $85 but his potential adopter still needs an approved adoption application.
