Mystique (female)

Last but certainly not least, we have Mama Mystique!

Mystique is the last of our labs to be posted from the hoarding situation this spring. Why is she last? Because she spent all of this time raising her babies! Now they have all gone to their new forever homes, and it’s this beauty’s turn to find her forever family!

Mystique has spent the last few months in a foster home, where she has learned how to be a dog. She’s great with dogs, cats, and kids. She’s been living with one of our local trainers, so she’s been through puppy boot camp! She is great on a leash, and loves her crate. She’s getting better with car rides, but sometimes still gets a little nauseous. She’s even potty trained! This sweet girl is a lover. She is shy when first meeting new people, but who could blame her? She may take time to warm up and adjust to her new environment but with a little patience and routine, this girl will warm right up.

Mystique will most likely need a fenced in yard, as she’s still learning boundaries, and undergoing training. She will need additional training as she adjust to her new home. But these labs have been ridiculously sweet, loyal, and loving dogs, so some family will be extremely lucky to have her. We’re looking for a home with older kids, who could help this girl relax and play in her new home. Her size and activity level may be too much for younger babies. She is approximately 2-3 years old and is 50lbs. She is ready to meet her forever family!

She has been spayed, is up to date on core vaccinations, is heartworm negative, but has been treated for Lyme Disease. Mystique has been dewormed, microchipped, and given monthly flea and tick prevention.

Her adoption fee is $150 but any potential adopter still needs an approved adoption application.
