Look who’s back 👀
Buster made his way back to us this week. Unfortunately, he didn’t mesh well with a kitty. So we’re now looking for a feline free home for this big guy. Buster is a 1-2 year old Boxer mix. He is 55-60lbs of love! He’s a very sweet boy, and loves playing with his puppy pals. He’s kennel trained, great on a leash, and rides well in a car. He LOVES people, and always wants to say hi. He’s such a good boy, we just need to find the right spot for this guy.
Buster would love a yard to run and play in, but would also be ok with lots of walkies. As long as he’s with his people, he’s comfy! Let’s find this guy a perfect family!
Buster has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, 4DX negative, is up to date on core vaccinations, and has been given monthly flea and tick preventative.
His adoption fee is $150 but any potential adopter still needs an approved adoption application.

Adopting a Pet
To adopt an animal, please fill out an adoption application before visiting the Sanctuary. This speeds up the adoption process. All adoption applications require a reference check from a previous or current veterinarian and other references as needed.

The adoption fee covers all vaccinations, heartworm and feline leukemia/FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) testing, de-worming, and spay or neuter procedure.
Adoption Checklist
So, you think you're ready to adopt a pet? Check out the checklist below.
- Browse available pets on the website.
- Fill out the Adoption Form and submit it.
- Schedule an appointment to visit the shelter and meet your new friend.
- Pay the Adoption Fee.
- Take your new best friend home.
If you choose not to keep your adopted pet, contact Animal Friends at 304-290-4738, and we will make arrangements to re-enter the pet into the foster/adoption program. Your adoption fee is non-refundable.
