Introducing Quack Quack 💜
Quack Quack is a 10ish year old gal, who is a survivor of a local hoarding situation. She is a social butterfly and is ready to live her best years in the perfect home. No, she is not wearing a catchers glove, she has so many toes that we have lost count! Quack loves to follow staff and volunteers around to harass them for a snack. She makes the best biscuits, and loves a good toy or tunnel. She had a dental recently and lost most of her teeth, so now she give gummy nibbles and drools for treats. She is perfect in her own special way! Don’t let her age fool you, this girl has so much personality and energy!
She has been spayed, is up to date on core vaccinations, has been dewormed, microchipped, given monthly flea and tick prevention, and is combo negative.
Her adoption fee is $115 but any potential adopter still needs an approved adoption application.

Adopting a Pet

To adopt an animal, please fill out an adoption application before visiting the Sanctuary. This speeds up the adoption process. All adoption applications require a reference check from a previous or current veterinarian and other references as needed.

The adoption fee covers all vaccinations, heartworm and feline leukemia/FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) testing, de-worming, and spay or neuter procedure.

Adoption Checklist

So, you think you're ready to adopt a pet? Check out the checklist below.

  • Browse available pets on the website.
  • Fill out the Adoption Form and submit it.
  • Schedule an appointment to visit the shelter and meet your new friend.
  • Pay the Adoption Fee.
  • Take your new best friend home.

If you choose not to keep your adopted pet, contact Animal Friends at 304-290-4738, and we will make arrangements to re-enter the pet into the foster/adoption program. Your adoption fee is non-refundable.
